CW Wildlife Rescue are following Public Health England guidelines and have implemented the following COVID policy:

  • The rescue centre at Stockers Farm, Rickmansworth is no longer open to the public.
  • Donations will be received outside the building, visitors bringing donations are requested to wear face coverings and keep a 2-metre distance.
  • Volunteer recruitment has been paused until the spring.  Applications are still being received and will be put on a waiting list.
  • Visitors bringing sick/injured animals to the rescue will need to wear a face covering and keep a 2-metre distance.  Animals to be handed over outside the building if possible.
  • All volunteers and visitors entering the building will have their temperature taken and recorded.  Visitors will need to sign in and leave contact details or check in with the Covid-19 app for track and trace.
  • Hand sanitiser is provided and should be used on arrival, on exit and following contact with any of the animals.
  • Face coverings are to be worn in the building unless working on own, or exempt.
  • Working zones have been marked out to facilitate social distancing.
  • A maximum of 5 volunteers on a shift at a time.
  • Do not visit the rescue if you are unwell or currently experiencing any COVID symptoms including fever above 37.5 degrees, new cough and loss or change to your sense of taste and smell.
